WORK DUTIES We are seeking a support pedagogue for a residential facility with special services for adults according to LSS. In your role as a support pedagogue, you will guide staff in pedagogical work while also participating in daily operations and providing support to service recipients based on their approved services. You provide support to residents in all aspects of life. You work from the individual's needs and actively work to ensure that the person uses their abilities as independently as possible. You support and assist with daily tasks, personal care, recreational activities, and social contacts. Together with your colleagues, you create a calm and stress-free environment with clear routines and predictability for all residents. Each person has an individual implementation plan that guides the support provided. Through participation and care, we want to create opportunities for change and quality of life. We are in an exciting development phase where we are implementing new digital operational support that will strengthen and develop our methods. This means you will have the opportunity to be part of and contribute to an important change journey from the start. The staff group consists of one support pedagogue and several support assistants. You will work day shifts, evening shifts, overnight on-call, and every other or every third weekend. The position is approximately 75% but may be expanded. As a support pedagogue, you have overall responsibility for pedagogical work within the operation. You will establish working methods and approaches and ensure these are used and developed effectively. Together with the work group, you establish, implement, and follow up on routines, action plans, and activity descriptions. You ensure that social documentation and implementation plans are created, further developed, and followed according to laws and guidelines. You will support and coordinate colleagues to become independent in creating and following up on implementation plans. As a support pedagogue, you are a knowledge resource in the work team. You serve as support and guidance for each individual employee and the work group. You guide the work group based on the operation's needs and methods. Together with your colleagues, you have a central role in the operation's quality development and systematic improvement work. You will participate in a network with other pedagogues and collaborate with relatives, guardians, and other key persons to ensure participants receive good care, support, and service. QUALIFICATIONS For the position of support pedagogue, post-secondary education in the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational school credits as a support pedagogue or 60 higher education credits in the disability field. It is important that you have a positive view of people, that you are flexible, confident, and attentive. You are responsible, solution-focused, and able to work both independently and in groups. You need to have experience working with challenging behavior and the autism target group within the disability field. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills and good knowledge of social documentation. We consider it a merit to have experience working as a pedagogue and/or experience leading groups. It is also desirable that you have knowledge of the following methods: LAB (low-arousal approach), AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), Clear Pedagogy, Sign Support, IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus), MI (Motivational Interviewing), and Welfare Technology. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Valid B-category driving license (manual). Certificate from the police records database is required. Delegated Health and Social Care Act services may occur. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment type: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: 2026-10-01 or by agreement.
