Would you like to work creatively and develop a program where sensory experiences are at the center? We are now looking for a support educator who wants to help create meaningful experiences for our participants. Your Assignment As a support educator, you are responsible for planning, developing, and implementing individually tailored activities with a focus on sensory experiences. Through activities such as music, creative work, tactile experiences, and sensory-stimulating environments, you contribute to strengthening participants' well-being, participation, and development. You design and adapt activities based on each individual's needs, circumstances, and goals. The work also includes documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of participants' development, as well as ensuring that services maintain high quality and are based on a pedagogical approach. The role also includes mentoring and supporting colleagues in pedagogical methods and contributing to the development of the program by sharing knowledge and best practices. As part of daily work, you will also handle routine care tasks and certain service tasks, such as cleaning, to work together with your team in creating a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning program. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with training as a support educator, education in care work or pedagogy, or other equivalent education that the employer considers relevant for the position. We would like to see that you have training in PFA (Pedagogical Approach and Working Method), knowledge and training in AAC. If you also have experience working within LSS or day services, sensory-stimulating work, and knowledge of low-affect interaction, this is considered a merit. As a person, you are creative, engaged, and development-oriented. You work independently, take your own initiatives, and dare to make decisions within your assignment. You see possibilities, take responsibility for your work, and have a holistic perspective where the program's best interests are always in focus. Furthermore, you are organized and have a good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You work goal-oriented, meet deadlines, and focus on creating good results. To succeed in this role, you need good collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships through attentive, respectful, and professional interaction. You value good cooperation with users, family members, and colleagues. You have good pedagogical skills and can adapt your approach based on individuals' different needs and circumstances. Through a coaching and motivating approach, you contribute to participation, engagement, and development, and you can clarify goals, expectations, and assignments. We also see that you have good analytical skills. You can see connections, identify areas for development, and find solutions to complex issues in a structured and quality-conscious manner. A driver's license is a requirement for this position, as well as good Swedish language skills in speech and writing. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
