About the Job We are now recruiting a support pedagogue for our Daily Activities program on Södra Hamngatan in central Gothenburg. The activities consist of two units, with approximately half of the participants working at various workplaces located throughout Gothenburg. This position is a one-year contract starting October 1st, with good opportunities to continue working in the organization thereafter. As a support pedagogue, you are a role model and share responsibility for the pedagogical work at the facilities together with your colleagues. All participants in our Activlink program are covered by LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) and have decisions for Daily Activities. You will be a contact person for several participants, supporting them in creating implementation plans and ensuring that social documentation is created, developed and followed in accordance with applicable laws and guidelines. You create and adapt work tasks for participants together with those you serve as a contact person for. You are also responsible for holding regular check-ins with participants and their case managers at the social services. Your role involves many contact points, and you need strong social skills to adapt depending on who you are working with, as in many ways you are "the central connector." You will be part of a group of approximately 15 people led by facility managers and will collaborate with families, guardians/appointed representatives and social workers. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a support pedagogue qualification or, alternatively, post-secondary specialization in the field of disability services comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working in support and services for people with disabilities. Your education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work and (psychiatric) care. You must have previous experience working in Daily Activities. You also need experience with Motivational Interviewing. It is desirable that you have experience supporting people in guidance conversations. You are motivated by defined goals and have the ability to translate these into action. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize your work when circumstances change. You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the scope of your assignment without depending on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive work forward. Additionally, you are motivated to learn new things and develop, and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks. You come up with new ideas and take initiative for improvements. You actively monitor developments in your field, reflect on what needs to be developed in your activities, and can quickly adapt to emerging situations. We look forward to your application!
