The Residential Social Unit is part of the Social Administration and is responsible for residential support and social housing apartments in Eskilstuna. The unit consists of four teams. Three of the teams work with residential support and the fourth manages apartments. The work is carried out in collaboration with the Employment and Adult Education Administration and the Health and Care Administration. Other important collaboration partners are resources within the municipality and external actors, such as Region Sörmland. Our goal is for service users to retain their housing and receive the right support for functional living. We operate from our office at Kungsgatan 68. We are now seeking a support pedagogue for a temporary position that extends until December 31, 2027. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As a support pedagogue, you work in a supportive, motivating, and guiding manner. You meet adults who are at least 18 years old in various life situations, both with and without children. Support is provided to those who have particular difficulties obtaining or maintaining housing. You provide support by guiding and demonstrating; you accompany people to meetings with other actors. You are often a resource in contact with authorities, such as social assistance. The work also includes documentation in the activity system and writing and following implementation plans for service users. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education as a support pedagogue or other education that we consider equivalent. If you have experience with similar work or with this target group, we see that as a positive. Experience from service professions where you have met and supported customers is also a merit. If you speak additional languages besides Swedish and have studied MI, that is also a merit. For this position, you need to have a B driver's license. You also need to be able to work in homes where there may be animals or where smoking occurs.
