JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employee, you keep the service user in focus and have knowledge of the functional disabilities present in our services.
Our target group is young adults/adults with functional disabilities in the form of intellectual disability and neuropsychiatric functional disabilities.
This requires that you are secure in yourself, have a clear way of expressing yourself, are patient, flexible, responsible, and responsive to the service user's needs. You need to be able to read the situation you're in and adapt your way of communicating and acting based on the service user you meet.
From a service user perspective, we work in various ways to support and safeguard personal integrity, participation, and self-determination. We work with clear structure, communication, and low-arousal approaches.
You will participate in daily work with service users alongside other staff members, which is essential for identifying needs and driving development work. As a support pedagogue, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the pedagogical work in the service together with your colleagues. Your assignment includes engaging, implementing, and anchoring evidence-based methods within the work team.
You will have special responsibility for coordinating and providing information about social documentation. You will support contact staff in understanding why and how we should document, as well as follow up to ensure that implementation plans are updated and maintained at a high quality.
All work should be based on each individual service user's circumstances and aim to develop the service user's skills and possibilities in their daily life and leisure time. The goal is for the individual to have the opportunity to live like others.
You will be supported in your work as a Support Pedagogue by the municipality's Support Pedagogue team.
QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary vocational education as a Support Pedagogue with 200 YH credits or alternatively 60 higher education credits within the relevant field.
For this position, you must be secure in yourself, have a clear way of expressing yourself, be patient, flexible, responsible, and responsive to service users and in collaboration with colleagues.
Meritorious: Experience working with people with functional disabilities. Practical experience with IBIC, clarifying pedagogy, low-arousal approaches, and AAC. Knowledge and experience with welfare technology. Class B driver's license.
You must master Swedish to a level where you can communicate with service users and staff. Due to the requirement to maintain social documentation, you need good computer skills and the ability to express yourself clearly and coherently in Swedish in writing.

Work hours are scheduled day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Employment form: Permanent position.
