Dotorpsgatan is an LSS residential home in central Falköping. We provide support to 12 people with decisions for residential care under LSS. Four people live in our group home on the ground floor and the remaining eight in service apartments in the same building. We work from a humanistic perspective where everyone is equally valued, and our starting point is that everyone does their best given their current situation. In the role of support pedagogue, you will also have a specific assignment where the aim is to develop the activities in accordance with LSS together with your closest colleagues. You will also participate in regular network meetings with other support pedagogues within the activity area. For the role of support assistant, you should have upper secondary education in a care program or children's and leisure program, with specialization within the activity area. Alternatively, some other education and/or specialization deemed equivalent, supplemented with at least three years of experience from the disability field. For the role of support pedagogue, you need, in addition to the above, to have post-secondary specialization within the disability field with a pedagogical focus comprising 60 higher education credits or 200 vocational training credits. Alternatively, other education deemed equivalent combined with at least three years of experience from the disability field. Meriting qualifications for your role as support assistant/support pedagogue include education or experience in PERMA, visual teaching methods, and low-affect interaction. Experience working with implementation plans, documentation, and digital aids is a plus. Great importance is placed on personal suitability, which for us includes the ability to read individuals' needs, a flexible mindset, and the ability to adapt to new situations. A B driver's license is a requirement for the position. We strive for a work team where individuals' different strengths contribute to the whole. Information Interviews will be held on an ongoing basis and recruitment will take place in collaboration with some of the service users living at the home.
