Then apply for a position with us at Eken group home. Your Assignment In your role, you will help and support the residents with care services based on approved support. The work is conducted according to established implementation plans that describe each individual's wishes, needs, and goals. Your work includes providing support in all household tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, clothing care, laundry, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, and leisure and cultural activities. You will also perform delegated work tasks. Other important responsibilities include developing and maintaining individual abilities and communication, as well as supporting the residents' self-determination and personal integrity. Working hours are scheduled around the clock and adjusted according to the facility's needs. Description of the Workplace Eken group home in Ljusne has transitioned to the Functional Support operational area within the Welfare sector. We now need to expand our team! Eken group home provides housing for six people covered by the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). Eken focuses on people over 65 years old, but each individual's specific needs determine placement. The overarching goal of the law is to enable individuals to live like everyone else without being limited by their disability. At Eken, you will work together with your colleagues to provide the residents with the best possible living conditions based on individual wishes and circumstances. You work closely with your colleagues, your unit manager, nurse, and other organizational partners. Your Competence We are looking for someone with training as a support pedagogue/support assistant or a completed care and service program, or other education/experience that the employer considers equivalent. We would appreciate if you have previous experience as a support assistant or experience with care-related and/or pedagogical work, as well as delegated nursing tasks. As a person, you are calm, patient, and confident in your interactions. You have a low-affect approach and the ability to handle complex expressions in a responsive and respectful way. You are stress-resilient, empathetic, and professional in interactions with others. You easily understand other people's perspectives and situations and can adapt your approach based on individual needs and circumstances. You work from a holistic perspective and have the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work, both independently and with colleagues. You are confident in making your own decisions within your area of responsibility, while respecting decisions made by others and can take responsibility for carrying out tasks on assignment from others. As an employee, you take responsibility for contributing to an operation with high quality and safety. You are curious and committed to developing your skills, actively seek new knowledge, and take initiative for improvements. You identify and report shortcomings, thereby contributing to a learning approach and safe care for the people we serve. It is positive if you have experience with PFA, clarifying pedagogy, and/or low-affect interaction. The work requires communication and documentation. Computer and telephone are used as work tools, so we expect you to have computer skills and to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license for a car is a requirement.
