This notice concerns a temporary position. Job Responsibilities You will work in daily activities and employment. You will carry out planned support measures and activities together with the user. The support measures should promote the user's integrity, participation, and are carried out with respect for the user's self-determination. The user's needs should be at the center, and the person's views should be actively taken into consideration. The work is based on a pedagogical and motivating approach in close collaboration with the user's network and other staff. You are expected to be able to work independently and quickly adapt to changed circumstances. You should have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, and have a responsive and unpretentious approach. The job responsibilities also include IT-based documentation and administration, as well as certain delegated health and medical care tasks. You work based on the Act on Support and Service to Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). You assist people with disabilities with individually adapted support and services so that the individual can be assured of good living conditions. Qualifications Competence and experience as support pedagogue: Higher education or other post-secondary education focused on the disabilities field, pedagogy, and social work, such as preschool teacher, treatment pedagogue, recreation pedagogue, occupational therapist, support pedagogue, social pedagogue, as well as good computer skills. Competence and experience as support assistant: Care and nursing program with a focus on the disabilities field, children's and leisure program with a focus on social or pedagogical work, or other equivalent education that the employer deems comparable, as well as good computer skills. It is meritorious if you have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities. It is also meritorious if you speak multiple languages. Your role as a colleague is deeply connected to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the operation's development. Other Information To ensure safety for our users, a background check is conducted according to the law (2026:43 – Act on Background Checks for Work in Homes for Elderly Persons or Adults with Disabilities).
