In Färgelanda, it is easy to thrive – both at home and at work. Job Duties As a support assistant, you work to provide individually tailored support to people covered by LSS. Together with your colleagues, you create conditions for participation, independence, and good quality of life based on each individual's needs, abilities, and wishes. The work involves supporting residents in daily activities, social interaction, leisure activities, and care. You will also carry out delegated health and care services such as medication management and other applicable HSL services under delegation from licensed personnel. You work according to implementation plans, document according to current procedures, and contribute to developing the operation through a professional, educational, and solution-focused approach. Working hours are scheduled for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. Qualifications • Nursing assistant education with a focus on functional disability or psychiatry, or alternatively education in habilitation. • Driver's license (category B). • Experience working in LSS operations. • Knowledge and experience of low-arousal approaches. • Good ability to express yourself clearly in speech and writing in Swedish. • Good computer skills, as documentation is an important part of the work. Meritorious • Education as a support educator. • Knowledge of AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), particularly sign language as support. • Experience with visual teaching methods and other pedagogical methods within functional support.
