Your work tasks In this role, you are a safe and stable presence in the user's daily life. You work closely with a person who sometimes finds themselves in an emotionally challenging situation, and your ability to be calm, consistent, and responsive is central. You support the user in daily life, and you see every situation – even the difficult ones – as an opportunity to understand behaviors, create security, and find ways forward together. You have a genuine desire to contribute to development, stability, and good quality of life. The work includes, among other things: - Provide individually adapted support based on the user's needs, abilities, and how they're doing - Work in a structured way based on low-affect interaction and clarifying pedagogy - Contribute to predictability, security, and a calm environment - Document according to applicable procedures - Collaborate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals - Contribute to reflection and dialogue in the work team You are a safe point even when emotions fluctuate, and you meet the user with respect and patience. You understand that high functioning in certain areas doesn't always mean full independence, and you adapt your approach accordingly. When behaviors aim to test or seek boundaries, you meet them with professionalism, clarity, and calm. Working hours are scheduled with day, evening, weekend, and awake night shifts with long work periods for as much predictability as possible for the user. Your qualifications We're looking for someone who has: - Education from a care program (nursing assistant/children and leisure with social and educational focus) at upper secondary level - Education focused on disabilities - B-category driving license for manual transmission as you drive in the course of work - Good communication skills and strong Swedish language skills in speech and writing - Experience with documentation and basic computer skills It is an advantage if you have knowledge in: - Working with adults with special needs - Behaviors that may be experienced as challenging - Clarifying pedagogy - Low-affect interaction - Cognitive support Your personal competencies that are key to succeeding in this position: Networking – You create and maintain trusting relationships. You act consciously and thoughtfully even under pressure, which contributes to security – both for the user and for your colleagues.
