JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a support assistant, you work to provide support, service, and care to people with disabilities according to LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Your mission is to contribute to ensuring that each individual has the opportunity to live as independently, securely, and meaningfully as possible. The work includes, among other things: • Providing support in daily tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and personal care. • Supporting and motivating residents in social activities and leisure interests. • Contributing to participation, self-determination, and development of each individual. • Working closely with colleagues, family members, and other professionals to create safe and high-quality care. • Documenting and following up on interventions based on implementation plans. Within the organization, we work based on an individualized approach; in daily work we apply clear pedagogy, alternative communication, and evidence-based practice. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has completed vocational education in a care and nursing program, child and recreation program, or other education that the employer deems relevant for the position. You also have experience working with clear pedagogy. If you additionally have further training in neuropsychiatry within the field, that is a merit. You have good computer skills and experience documenting in journal systems and creating implementation plans with goals. You have good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. It is a merit if you have a B driving license for manual transmission vehicles.
