Your Work Tasks As a support assistant, you work closely with the user in their daily life. The work is characterized by both planned interventions and situations that arise spontaneously, where you need to be able to adapt your support based on the individual's needs. You contribute to a safe environment through a preventive approach, clear structure, and low-affect management. Together with your colleagues, you work to ensure that each user has the best possible conditions to develop their abilities and participate in their daily life. In the role, you will, among other things: Support, motivate, and guide users in everyday activities to strengthen independence and participation. Provide support in personal care as well as with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping. Plan and carry out meaningful activities based on the user's needs, wishes, and circumstances. Perform delegated health and medical care tasks, for example medication management. Document according to applicable legislation and guidelines and work based on implementation plans. Collaborate with colleagues, family members, and other professionals regarding the user's needs and development. Participate in the organization's development work, supervision, and competence-building initiatives. Our users need support around the clock, which means that working hours are distributed throughout all hours of the day and all days of the week. Your Qualifications We are looking for you who have: High school education in care and social services, preferably with a focus on disability, such as nursing assistant training or a youth and leisure program with a social or educational focus. A valid B driver's license. Experience working in LSS activities, psychiatry, or comorbidity. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience with documentation and basic computer skills. Experience working with people who exhibit externalizing behaviors. Knowledge of clarifying pedagogy, such as TEACCH. Experience with low-affect management, cognitive support, and health-promoting working methods. To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to be proactive. You have a good ability to collaborate and work closely with both colleagues, family members, and other professionals. You adapt your support based on the user's needs and strive to create a positive and accessible everyday life. The work also requires flexibility.
