Job Responsibilities
Your task is to support, engage, and guide the residents during their stay. Together with other staff, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating the activities.
By building good relationships with the residents, you provide support in various everyday situations and help maintain social contacts and relationships. All support services, such as activities, cleaning, laundry, meals, personal assistance, and physical care, are based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents in accordance with LSS legislation and Malmö City's LSS plan and values. Your work should promote independence, participation, and be carried out with respect for the resident's integrity and self-determination. The foundation for your work is the residents' action plans and implementation plans, which are developed together with the residents. You work systematically with social documentation.
You should contribute to creating a meaningful and safe stay where activities are shaped according to the residents' specific strengths, interests, and needs.
Operations are conducted according to a clearly developed pedagogical structure through a team-based approach. The structure is built on well-defined roles for each staff member within the LSS residential care facility, where you work together with care educators and support educators to develop daily work with the residents.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with vocational training from a healthcare and care program, a children's and leisure program, or other equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent.
You need to have experience with challenging behavior and low-arousal approaches. Previous experience working within LSS is a merit.

You have professional maturity and are responsible, creative, and want to help develop our operations. You have the ability to work both in a team and independently and take your own initiatives.
You should have a strong will and drive to promote people's development based on their circumstances. You can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.
The position involves close care work.
The position includes handling medications.
The position includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.
A driver's license for a manual transmission vehicle is a merit.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.

The residential facilities are part of LSS housing, PK1, which means they are intended for people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism-like conditions.
