About the Role As a support assistant, you work closely with the residents and provide individually tailored support based on LSS, implementation plans, and the individual's needs and wishes. Together with your colleagues, you create a safe, predictable, and developmental daily life where the individual is given the opportunity for participation, self-determination, and a good quality of life. Your tasks include: Providing support with personal care and daily activities. Planning and implementing activities based on the individual's interests and goals. Supporting residents in social community and an independent daily life. Documenting and following up on interventions in accordance with applicable guidelines. Collaborating with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. Contributing to professional treatment and a good working environment. The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period. The work is scheduled and includes day, evening, and weekend shifts, with every other weekend on duty. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is confident, committed, and responsible. You have a genuine interest in working with people and a respectful approach that contributes to building trusting relationships. You are flexible, solution-focused, and have the ability to work both independently and with others. You have a strong interest in football and enjoy an active environment where sports, play, and movement – both outdoors and in sports halls – are a natural part. We are looking for you to have: Secondary education in healthcare and nursing, child and leisure programs, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working within LSS, support services, or other care activities. Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. Good computer skills and experience with documentation. Ability to work independently and in a team. A driver's license (Category B) is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Meritorious if you also have Experience working with individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities Experience with visual supports and AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication). Experience working with challenging behaviors. Terms of Employment Employment Type: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period. Employment Degree: 50–100%. Working Hours: Scheduled working hours during day, evening, and every other weekend. Start Date: October 1 or by agreement. Collective Agreement: We are bound by collective agreements through Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
