The Welfare Department's task is to help people who, due to age, disability, economic or family problems, need various forms of support and help. The Welfare Department consists of three departments: care and nursing, support and IFO (individual and family care). The care and nursing department consists of units within elderly homes, home care and municipal primary care. The support department includes LSS. Job Description As a support assistant at our service housing in Munkedals Municipality, you get a unique opportunity to make a difference in people's lives every day. In this role, you will work closely with people with special needs and help them achieve their individual goals and wishes. Your work will include planning and implementation of daily activities to promote independence and quality of life. You provide support and guidance in both everyday tasks and social interaction, and create a safe and structured environment where each individual can thrive and develop. Your work also includes monitoring each individual's development and well-being to adapt support interventions according to their needs. You have strong commitment to the target group and good collaboration skills, and you actively contribute to a learning work environment by sharing your experiences and acquiring new knowledge. Qualifications We are looking for you who has a diploma from a nursing care program or other education that the employer deems equivalent. has a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written, in order to provide safe care with high quality and meet our users' needs based on both implementation plans and current situations. has a B driving license. is a trained nursing assistant/support assistant with a focus on people with disabilities (meriting). has experience working within LSS or care and nursing (meriting).
