Your Assignment Rudsjövägens Group Home is a residence under the Act on Support and Service (LSS) located in a quiet residential area in Duvnäs, close to bus service to Slussen. The building is a standalone house containing six apartments and common areas with a large outdoor patio. The group home houses adults of varying ages with intellectual disabilities. Some residents also have physical disabilities. Rudsjövägens Group Home is part of a service area together with another service residence, jointly managed by an assistant operations manager. As a support assistant, you will provide support and services to residents based on their individual needs. This means you will help create conditions for security, personal development, and good living conditions. The work is always customer-focused; we therefore adapt to their needs and respect their wishes and preferences. Daily documentation is an important part of the work to ensure high quality and safety in our services. Work is scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. The position involves varied tasks including support and service with: Cleaning Personal care Hygiene tasks Medication management Is This You? We are looking for someone with experience in the disability services field and a good understanding of what our LSS assignment entails. You are experienced and capable of working independently with customers and are confident with the responsibility that entails. Additionally, you have strong collaboration skills and are a team player. You naturally prioritize customer well-being and needs, maintain a calm and respectful demeanor with everyone you meet, and approach service in all situations. Our customers have extensive support needs in daily life, so you must be experienced with personal care tasks. We place great importance on personal suitability. Your Experience To be a candidate for this position, you must have: Completed education in care and nursing/child and youth services with coursework in disability/special education Experience with autism and cognitive disabilities among adults Experience with low-arousal approaches Computer and documentation experience Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical fitness If you additionally have education and/or experience in IBIC, AAC, clarifying pedagogy, and self-injurious behaviors, that is highly meritorious.
