Your Assignment Rudsjövägens Group Home is a residence under the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS) located in a quiet residential area in Duvnäs, close to bus service to Slussen. The building is a standalone house containing six apartments plus common areas with a large outdoor patio. The group home is home to adults of varying ages with intellectual disabilities. Some residents also have physical disabilities. Rudsjövägens Group Home is part of a service area that includes another service residence, together managed by an assistant operations manager. As a support assistant, you will provide support and services to residents based on their individual needs. This means you will help create conditions for safety, personal development, and good living conditions. In this role, the focus is always on the customers; we therefore adapt based on their needs and respect their will and wishes. Daily documentation is an important part of the work to ensure good quality and safety in our mission. Work is scheduled during day, evening, and weekend shifts. The position involves varied tasks including support and services with: Cleaning Personal care Hygiene tasks Medication management Is This You? We are looking for someone with experience in the field of disabilities and a good understanding of what our LSS mission entails. You are comfortable and have the ability to work independently with customers and feel secure with the responsibility that comes with it. You also have strong collaboration skills and are a team player. You naturally prioritize the customer's well-being and needs, maintain a calm and respectful demeanor with everyone you meet, and approach service in all situations. Our customers have extensive support needs in daily life, and you therefore need to be experienced with care tasks. We place great importance on personal suitability. Your Experience To be considered for this position, you must have: Completed education in healthcare and social services/children and leisure with courses in disability/special education Experience with autism and cognitive disabilities in adults Experience with low-arousal approaches Computer and documentation skills Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Good physical ability Additional education and/or experience in IBIC, AAC, visual teaching methods, and self-injurious behavior is highly valued.
