The Care and Services Administration with approximately 1500 employees is one of the administrations in Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support services, and health and medical care. At Måldomargatan, 12 tenants live who are in the midst of life. Together we organize activities both indoors and outdoors. We have a cozy outdoor patio where community activities are appreciated. WORK TASKS As a support assistant, you work with supporting the user in their daily life by creating an understandable, manageable, and meaningful existence and by working preventively and in a structured manner. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities - all work is based on the user's individually prepared implementation plan. You participate in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting users in developing their communication skills and sense of belonging, and providing support in social activities, both individually and in groups. The goal is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes. You provide support in all common daily tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, clothing care, laundry, cleaning, nutrition, cooking, shopping, finances, medication, social training, culture, and leisure. You are part of a work team with support assistants and a support pedagogue. You work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously follow up and revise the implementation plans. We work with activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Needs are continuously adjusted based on the operation's requirements, which means you need to be prepared to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and sleeping on-call duty. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who • Have training as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or other training that the employer considers equivalent • Have experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism in housing with special services • Have knowledge of low-arousal behavior support (LAB), clarifying pedagogy, and AAC • Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing • Have a driver's license for passenger cars (B) It is advantageous if you have experience working with Timecare and Treserva. As a support assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you make the user's needs the basis for your actions. You have interest, willingness, and ability to help others and you make efforts to provide solutions. In your work, it is important that you act independently based on what the situation requires without needing support from others.
