Welcome to Kungsholmen's Group Housing Kungsholmen's group housing currently consists of seven group homes and three service housing facilities. All are designed for LSS user group 1, which includes people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or autism spectrum disorder. The group homes are located in multi-family buildings with good transportation connections on Kungsholmen. Your working hours are scheduled for day/evening/weekend shifts. The position is a permanent full-time employment. The Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you ensure that the support and services provided are of high quality and with respect for the individual's integrity, participation, and self-determination. We apply a working method adapted to the residents' needs, wishes, and circumstances. Based on this, you provide support and service in daily life to those living in the group home so they can live a more independent life according to established goals and agreements. The role also includes: - Providing support to individuals in daily living activities, including activities outside the home such as walks in urban environments - Being responsible for maintaining contacts with healthcare, rehabilitation, guardians, and day programs - Creating implementation plans, support routines, and activities for the individual About the Service Housing The service housing has sixteen apartments. The apartments are located adjacent to a common area. All apartments have their own kitchen, living room, and bedroom/alcove bed. Sixteen users living at the service housing belong to LSS user group 1. The users have received LSS decisions and need help in their daily lives. The work team currently consists of six employees working on a rotating schedule with day, evening, weekend, and overnight on-call shifts. A group leader also works at the facility. Your Competence and Experience We are looking for you who are a support assistant, which means you have: - Upper secondary education from the children's and youth program with a focus on social work or educational work - Or alternatively, upper secondary education from the healthcare and care program with specialization in the disability support pathway - At least one year of experience in a similar role with extensive knowledge of the target group and LSS - Good computer skills and other digital tools - Can express yourself fluently in speech and writing It is an advantage if you have knowledge of low-arousal approaches and if you are certified in Stockholm city's training in the pedagogical framework.
