About the Position For our service residence in Västra Frölunda, we are looking for a new colleague who wants to provide support to people in their daily lives both inside and outside the home. All residents have their own apartments, and the service residence also has an apartment that the staff operates from. The people we meet have varying support needs due to disabilities, so we are looking for someone who can provide support to people in different life situations. We provide support services in daily living activities including personal care, household management, shopping, medication management, social contacts, and communication. Together with your colleagues, you create a calm and stress-free environment with clear routines and predictability for all residents at Fiolgatan service residence. Working hours vary and are scheduled for day shifts, evening shifts, with work every other weekend. This is a permanent full-time position. Main Responsibilities You are solution-focused, empathetic, and able to build good relationships. As an employee at Fiolgatan, you work closely with users and contribute to their independence and quality of life. Your task is to use a pedagogical and calm approach to: Support users in everyday activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care. Plan and implement leisure activities. Encourage and support users in becoming more involved in their own lives. Your work includes creating social documentation. Each person has an individual care plan from which support is based. It is important that you are comfortable with written expression, as documentation is part of your work. Your Profile As a person, you are clear, attentive, and positive in your interactions. You are stable and see opportunities in every situation. You can organize your work tasks and have the ability to be flexible when the situation requires it. We consider your contribution to good cooperation with colleagues as essential, as it is a necessity for the people living with us to receive the best care. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. You have completed relevant training for the position such as support assistant, nursing assistant, or alternative education that the employer considers equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience in similar activities, as well as experience with approaches, methods, and structured working practices.
