Finningevägen 36 is a group home within LSS services, where 6 users with extensive care needs reside. Here you have excellent opportunities to work together with colleagues to design stimulating leisure activities based on each user's needs and abilities. The home benefits from its proximity to nature, shops, the city center, bus and train stations. The group home has six apartments on the ground floor with associated grounds. This position is a temporary contract running from November 1 through August 31, 2027. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Work as a support assistant is based on individual implementation plans and job descriptions to ensure good quality, as well as legal certainty and individualized support. The users have extensive care needs, which places high demands on work being conducted in accordance with LSS legislation. The work includes assessing skills and support areas to find appropriate accommodations based on user needs. In your work you will follow users in their daily lives and provide support in everything related to household management, cooking, personal care, shopping, and relationships with loved ones. The tasks are varied and no two days are alike. You work according to a schedule with varying hours, such as days, evenings, and every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has/is: • education as a nursing assistant or childcare worker • able to swim • holds a class B driving license • good skills in using IT as a support in work • very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is an advantage if you have training in nursing care. Great weight is placed on personal suitability and interest in working with this target group. You are responsive and able to adapt your approach, support and service based on the user's needs. You are a cheerful person with pedagogical ability and good patience. You preferably have an interest in being physically active and moving around. The work demands great commitment, personal responsibility and creativity. For this position you will need to provide a clean extract from the criminal record and suspicion register. Selection will be made after the application deadline closes.
