Your work duties As a support assistant, you work with support in daily routines, leisure activities, and personal care. You participate in planning, implementing, and following up on interventions together with colleagues and are responsible for documentation in Treserva. Your role as a contact person involves supporting the user in daily structure and planning, and ensuring that implementation plans are current and followed up according to the IBIC method (Individual's needs in focus). The work also includes contacts with family members, authorities, and healthcare services, as well as practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and medication management. You need to be able to adapt your working methods to the users' circumstances and show patience and calm demeanor even in challenging situations. Your workplace Jungfrubergsvägen 2 is a group home in southern Linköping for adults with autism, intellectual and/or physical disabilities. The operations actively work to create structure, alignment, and a sustainable working method, and there is a strong commitment to developing and improving everyday life for both users and employees. Work is scheduled during day, evening, and weekend shifts. About you You are trained as a nursing assistant, support assistant, or have other equivalent education and have experience working in support, care, and health services. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing and good computer skills, as documentation is an important part of the work. It is advantageous if you have experience working according to IBIC, with people with intellectual or physical disabilities, with challenging behavior, or with alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). Knowledge of positive behavior support (PBS) and a B driver's license for manual transmission is also advantageous. You collaborate well with others and contribute to a stable and respectful work environment, while being able to work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. You are confident, empathetic, and responsive in your interactions, can adapt your working methods to different situations, and have the ability to communicate clearly so that messages and expectations are understood by all involved.
