The Role of Support Assistant with Us As a support assistant, you help create a predictable, manageable, and understandable existence for our residents. You work to create conditions for participation and engagement based on each resident's individual circumstances. You have a professional approach and experience working with people on the autism spectrum and with intellectual disabilities. At Strannegården group home, you become part of a growing team. As a support assistant, you contribute to security and participation through an attentive and professional approach. Your work includes, among other things, serving as a contact person and establishing and following up on implementation plans based on IBIC. Your Profile We are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and meets people with respect and care. You have an easy time building trusting relationships and collaborate well with residents, family members, and colleagues alike. You take responsibility for your assignment, work independently, and help create structure and continuity in daily life. You are flexible, see possibilities in changes, and take initiative when the situation requires it. With a calm and positive approach, you handle even challenging situations in a safe manner. You are curious, development-oriented, and want to contribute to the continued development of the operation. You express yourself well in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. We are looking for someone who has: - Education in care and welfare programs, children's and leisure programs, or other education that the employer deems equivalent - Experience working with a similar target group - Experience with documentation and writing, as well as following up on implementation plans It is meritorious if you have: - Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) - Experience with clarifying pedagogy or relevant education for the assignment Learn More About Us Strannegården Group Home Department of Individual & Family Care | Kungsbacka Municipality Our Offer and Other Information We offer a permanent full-time employment (of which 10-20% is resource time) starting by mutual agreement. Working hours are scheduled during days, evenings, and weekends. Shift lengths vary. Within the Department of Individual & Family Care, all employees in Residential Services with Special Services and Home Support are employed full-time but have the opportunity to reduce to a desired employment level based on operational needs.
