You will be part of a work team that in a structured way provides support and service to those living in the group home. All work is based on the individual's own needs and circumstances.
The group home houses six people with various disabilities within LSS category 1. Here you will have 10 colleagues working on rotating shifts.
Working hours for this position are scheduled for day/evening/weekend shifts.

Your role
As a support assistant, you will work closely with individual residents in their daily lives by providing support and presence in all household matters. You will also participate in both indoor and outdoor activities, such as walks and various leisure interests. The work is based on each individual's abilities and developmental needs. The role may also include serving as a support person, which means responsibility for different aspects of the resident's life, including collaboration with both internal and external contacts.
The position also includes:
Planning, implementing, and developing work both independently and in collaboration with colleagues
Performing practical service tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and shopping
Providing support in daily life, including personal hygiene
Working with and handling aids such as wheelchairs and lifts
Handling certain medical tasks according to delegation
Maintaining contact with family members, guardians, and other people in the resident's network
Documenting ongoing in the ParaSoL system
Establishing, following up, and revising implementation plans based on requirements and the resident's wishes
Your competence and experience
You who are applying have:
Care/nursing education at upper secondary level or youth and leisure program with a focus on pedagogy or social work.
Other equivalent education may be relevant, such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or social worker.
Documented experience working with people with disabilities.
Documented experience working with people with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
Since the work involves significant oral and written reporting and documentation, we require Swedish and computer skills at the level the position requires.
