About the Workplace
We are seeking a new team member for one of Håbo's group homes.
If you have relevant experience and training in the LSS field, we welcome your application.
Håbo Municipality's group homes provide individualized support for adults according to the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. Residents in group and service homes have their own apartments as well as access to common areas.
Our goal is for those living in Håbo Municipality to be able to live as independently, self-sufficiently, and actively as possible. For the individual's security, there is staff support 24/7.
With us, you will be part of a dedicated team where cooperation and good conduct are important. You will receive introduction and support in your work to help you feel secure in your role.
Your Tasks
Work as a support assistant at Håbo Municipality's LSS homes involves ensuring that service users receive the support and assistance they are entitled to through approved decisions. Our service users need support to varying degrees to make their everyday lives function safely and well. Your tasks include providing support and care services based on implementation plans. You may also perform health and medical care tasks following delegation and be responsible for documentation in daily work. It is important to provide individualized care, create structure, and at the same time encourage and support service users in developing their personal interests. The work is based on the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). The position can be physically demanding and includes several practical work elements. Working hours vary and may include day, evening, weekend, night, and on-call shifts.
Qualifications
It is advantageous if you have previously worked in elderly care, personal assistance, and LSS homes. Good knowledge of diagnoses and knowledge of alternative communication are highly valued.
Delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff will be part of your work, which requires good computer skills as we document in management systems.
Since the work is based on communication, documentation, and building trust in personal relationships, it is important that you have a good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.
We Are Looking for You
We want someone who is genuinely interested in working with people and supporting them in achieving their goals. You always have the service user in focus.
You need to be responsible, attentive, and have good conduct. It is also important to be flexible and adapt to the service user's needs while being careful and confident in following the service user's routines.
You need to be able to work both independently and with colleagues.
Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities.
Work is performed during day, evening, and weekend shifts. On-call sleeping shifts are part of the work.
Recruiting is ongoing.
