We are now seeking a support assistant for a group residential home under LSS! About the Service The position is located at one of our group homes. The residence is situated in central Hallsberg within walking distance to the center. Individuals living in the group home have their own apartment with shared spaces for cooking and socializing. The group home is for individuals who need supervision and care. The residence has staff 24 hours a day. Job Duties As a support assistant at the group home in Hallsberg, you will work with: Participating in the resident's daily life and providing support in their everyday activities based on the established implementation plan and set goals. Performing care tasks and certain delegated healthcare tasks. Documenting and working in Hallsberg Municipality's activity system. Participating in ongoing activity development and continuing education. Qualifications For this position, we are seeking someone with a high school diploma from a care program or children's and leisure program. You may also have other education that the employer deems equivalent. Computer skills and a driver's license are required. We place great importance on competence where collaboration skills and flexibility are highly valued. The role of support assistant requires that you are attentive to the signals you receive and that you encourage the resident to express their own will. An important task is to work so that the resident themselves is involved in planning the support, as well as in community life in general, which requires good pedagogical skills. Some of our residents can manage much on their own and primarily need support in the form of verbal guidance and motivation, while others may have a great need for support and help in all situations.
