As a support assistant within the disability services area, you work together with your colleagues with the aim of giving our users participation, influence, and great self-determination in their own lives. We work with clarifying pedagogy to make life as predictable as possible and create conditions for the person to communicate, participate, and become as independent as possible. You will receive pedagogical supervision and the opportunity for further development depending on previous experience. Your work is always based on the user's implementation plan with support measures in their daily life such as help with cleaning, cooking, hygiene, showering, and running errands. Your duties also include being a contact person and maintaining close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, guardians, family members, and external partners. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have: - Education as a nursing assistant, children and leisure program with social focus, treatment pedagogue, or education that the employer deems equivalent. - Experience in care work. - Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum conditions/intellectual disabilities. - Experience documenting, creating, and following up on implementation plans. It is meritorious if you: - Have pedagogical education/further education - Knowledge or experience of clarifying pedagogy, alternative communication (AAC) - Knowledge of/or actively work with low-affect approach, motivational interviewing (MI). - Knowledge of/or experience working with mental health. - Driver's license You have a pedagogical approach, are attentive, respectful, and have the ability to adapt to sudden changes at work. With your structured way of working and strong interest and commitment, we ensure that through pedagogical supervision you get the right conditions to do really good work.
