Currently, only one resident with partially extensive support needs lives here. The facility has staff available 24/7. Within the unit there are two additional residences where we share substitute staff and, to some extent, personnel based on optimized staffing planning. The facility also has an attached nurse available for support in certain tasks. Based on the resident's particular needs, only men currently work at the facility. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a support assistant at Duvhöksgränd, you work to ensure the resident receives the right support for an independent life. You should be able to adapt your work to the resident's needs and always strive to involve the resident. This may include, for example, supporting communication, assisting with activities, and helping the resident's daily life run smoothly. Your duties also include documenting in the Lifecare documentation system, creating and following up on implementation plans, and conducting individualized activities. Furthermore, you are expected to cooperate with family members, colleagues, and other actors in the resident's network. You are part of a work team and collaborate closely with your colleagues. The activities are based on the resident receiving the interventions they are entitled to under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). Working hours are day, evening, and weekend shifts. You need to be aware that the employment may involve work in other activities when needed, as we work with optimized staffing in Enköpings Municipality. Due to the resident's particular needs, we prefer that applicants are male. QUALIFICATIONS We expect that you as an applicant have the following qualifications: • Experience working with young people/adults with mental health disabilities • Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written • Ability to work independently, take initiative, be flexible, and remain stable in challenging situations that may involve risks of threats and violence • Comfortable with delegated medical tasks Driver's license category B, both manual and automatic transmission Education Education in behavioral science, pedagogy, or social work, or other qualifications the employer deems equivalent Meritorious experience • Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) and low-affect interaction • Previous experience in LSS activities • Visual supports and structured teaching You adapt easily to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly adjust your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires. You take initiative, gladly start activities, and achieve results. You are secure, stable, and have self-awareness. You distinguish between the personal and professional and act in a manner suited to the situation.
