Support Assistant for Daily Activities - Rescue Service

Do you want to make a difference? We are now hiring a support assistant for a newly opened daily activities program in the southwest! Job Responsibilities The Rescue Service Daily Activities program is a new unit that will launch once staff are in place. You will be the sole staff member on-site working with a maximum of five participants. You will have access to a support educator who also manages another program. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of physical work in both indoor and outdoor environments, and who is flexible and solution-oriented based on the day's tasks. We operate on the principle that each individual should be involved and have the opportunity to influence how their day unfolds. Individuals should be given opportunities to develop toward as independent a life as possible. You will be a key contact person for the program participants, responsible for establishing and following up on implementation plans with goals for participant activities, work plans, routines and manuals, as well as documentation in Treserva. Work shifts are scheduled during daytime hours, Monday through Friday. The workplace is located at Färjenäs, Dalanäsvägen 30. We look forward to reading your application. Qualifications For the support assistant position, post-secondary specialization in the disability field is required, comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or 60 higher education credits with two years of work experience with persons with disabilities. The education should include relevant coursework in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You must have work experience with the target group of early developmental level and autism, as well as experience with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication). The position requires strong Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form and knowledge of social documentation. A driver's license is required for this position. You have the ability to work with others to complete tasks and achieve goals. You work effectively under stress, can balance different demands, and remain calm in difficult situations.
