Disability Services in Umeå Municipality wants to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, unlocks and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life.
Ordinary housing is organized within Disability Services, which includes short-term supervision, short-term residential care, relief services, home care, and a Upper Secondary School for children and youth. We also provide daily activities/employment, residential support, and a dependency resource team for adults over 18 years old.
Byttgränds Short-Term Residential Care is located at Ersboda and serves children and young adults with disabilities based on decisions under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). We offer a relief function for relatives, which contributes to a sustainable and long-term support structure for both the individual and the family. At our facility, the individual's needs and circumstances are at the center, and we provide a safe, stimulating, and developmental environment. Near the facility, there are playgrounds, forests, and a library, which enables varied leisure activities and outdoor time.
Would you like meaningful work where you have the opportunity to make a difference in people's everyday lives? We are now seeking at least one committed support assistant to join our team!
