The Care and Social Services Administration, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal Municipality and encompasses elderly care, functional support, and health care. Residential Support provides support to approximately 300 users and consists of two work teams that conduct similar activities, plus two planners. The work teams are divided into two smaller groups with a support pedagogue in each. We are now recruiting new colleagues who want to be part of creating the best possible everyday life for our users. 3 position(s). WORK TASKS In your role as a support assistant, you work to enable each user to achieve as independent a life as possible. You work independently and alone with users, either in their homes or in public environments where support is needed. This may involve working in homes where there are pets. You move between users/assignments using the municipality's vehicles. You support users through various interventions such as breaking social isolation, moving toward the job market, or beginning studies. You also help users structure their daily routines, manage household tasks, and communicate with authorities and other agencies, while collaborating and cooperating with other actors. You work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously follow up and revise implementation plans. We work with activity-adapted and flexible schedules. Needs are continuously adjusted based on operational requirements, which means you need to be prepared to work days, evenings, and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who • Have education as a support assistant, nursing assistant, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. • Have experience working with people with mental health disabilities such as anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, psychotic illness and/or neurodevelopmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, self-harm behavior. • Have knowledge of low-arousal interaction, clarifying pedagogy and AAC, ESL (an independent life), MI (motivational interviewing), and basic level in collaboration/care and support coordination. • Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speaking and writing. • Have a B-class driver's license. It is advantageous if you have experience working with Treserva. As a support assistant, you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You are based on everyone's equal value and you have the user's needs as the starting point for your actions. You adapt your communication based on recipient, target group, and situation. You act independently based on what the situation requires and have the ability to make independent decisions within the scope of your assignment.
