We are now seeking a new colleague for our group home at Terra Nova Torg in Visby. Five residents live here, and you will become part of a dedicated and experienced team with deep commitment and great passion for their work.

Your Work Tasks
As a support assistant, you and your colleagues work with IBIC (Individual's Needs in Focus) as the foundation.
You work to support, motivate, and assist residents in daily life and to interpret and clarify everyday routines. All our residents have different needs, and your task will be to provide individually tailored support, sometimes involving comprehensive care, other times involving educational support, motivation, and guidance. Regardless of the need, your contribution is important and makes a difference.
The work is characterized by an educational approach, a clear and structured way of working, and a low-affective manner of interaction. As a support assistant, you provide educational and practical support with social activities and household tasks as well as with personal care and transfers. You participate in activities' quality development and in various meetings, training, and supervision.
The position includes contact person responsibilities, which means you are tasked with establishing and revising implementation plans, maintaining documentation, and having contact with family members and representatives/guardians.
You work according to a base schedule with day/evening shifts and weekends, plus on-call sleeping shifts.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with an approved education in healthcare and social care, children and recreation, social pedagogy, or personal assistance. A class B driver's license is required for this position.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked in care for people with disabilities.
As a person, you are flexible, service-oriented, and have good cooperation skills. You are confident in both yourself and your professional role, and you demonstrate personal maturity in your interactions with others. With a calm and respectful approach, you have the ability to see each individual's needs and find solutions in line with the activities' goals and guidelines.
You have good communicative skills, are attentive, clear, and adapt your communication style to the recipient. You are confident in Swedish, both spoken and written, as all communication and documentation is conducted in Swedish.
