The Social Services Department is responsible for providing support, care and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on the individual's needs and offer services that are built on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS) and the Health and Medical Services Act.
Lantmannavägen's residence with special services is an LSS housing for children and young people with disabilities. Here we work to create an environment where inclusion, security and independence form the foundation of everything we do.
In the operations, we use a safe and low-arousal approach, where we create stability and predictability for the children during the night hours.
The residence is located in the countryside. If you don't live nearby, you need to have a driver's license and access to a car.

DUTIES
Awake nights with heart and responsibility
As a night support assistant, you are a safe and present adult. You are responsible for creating a calm environment, handling any needs that arise and contributing to making the night as safe as possible.
You work independently but are an important part of an engaged team that together creates a whole for the children's everyday life.
We are looking for you who thrive in a varied everyday life, where interaction, structure and commitment are central.
As a support assistant, you work to provide pedagogical, social and practical support to people in their everyday life. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life and participation in society.
The role includes, among other things:
- Support the individual in daily life according to the implementation plan
- Motivate and create structure around activities, health and social interaction
- Collaborate with family members, colleagues and other actors
- Document measures in digital systems according to current procedures
- Work based on a low-arousal approach and with the individual's needs in focus
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and develop relationships. You are confident, responsive and have the ability to adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.
We also see that you have:
- Upper secondary education in healthcare and care or children and leisure, or other education that the employer considers equivalent, such as for example a 2-year folk high school education to become a support assistant at upper secondary level.
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
Class B driver's license may be required depending on the activity
To work with children and young people with disabilities, you need to provide a police certificate.
