We are now looking for a committed and confident support assistant for the night shift at our LSS group home. With us, you have the opportunity to help our residents have a safe, secure, and meaningful everyday life based on their individual needs and wishes.
Duties
As a support assistant on the night shift, you are responsible for providing support, service, and care to people with disabilities according to LSS. The work involves creating security during the night through presence, supervision, and individually adapted support.
Your duties include:
Providing individual support and care based on implementation plans.
Carrying out supervision and security-creating measures during the night.
Documenting according to applicable legislation and the organization's routines.
Handling delegated health and medical care tasks following training and delegation.
Contributing to professional conduct and good collaboration with colleagues, family members, and other professionals.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
Upper secondary education such as child and recreation program, care and welfare program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
Experience working in LSS operations and/or care work is a merit.
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
Basic computer skills for documentation.
It is a merit if you have experience with low-arousal approach, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC).
