About the Job We are looking for someone who wants exciting and developmental work. As a support assistant with us, you will have varied work that includes many contact points. We work based on the LSS Law where our clients should be able to live life on their own terms, based on their own circumstances. The day should be comprehensible for the individual where structure, clarity, and security are cornerstones. For us, respect for people's self-determination and integrity is the foundation of our work. Unit LSS7 consists of 3 group homes. Our clients have varying degrees of functional disabilities, including brain injuries, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD/Autism. As an employee with us, work can take place at more than one home as we guarantee all employees full-time positions, but the majority of this position is at the Lovisagatan group home. Work Duties As a support assistant with us, you provide care and social support based on the client's individual needs and wishes. Together with other staff, you work to make the residents' lives meaningful and enriching. The goal is for residents to live life on their own terms based on their own circumstances. The day should be comprehensible for the individual where structure, clarity, and security are cornerstones. Work duties include care and daily support, contact with relatives, work from a holistic perspective, and supporting the individual in achieving the highest possible quality of life and independence. Social documentation and communication are important parts of your work. We work, among other things, based on clarification pedagogy, implementation plans, and contact person models. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has completed a high school vocational program in Care and Welfare, or equivalent education with interest and experience in functional disabilities. B driver's license for cars is an advantage Cycling experience You should be proactive and responsive to the client's needs and have an inherent respect for other people. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experience and are open to learning from others. You should be in good physical condition and have a positive attitude, be able to contribute to a good work environment, and have good collaboration skills. As joint planning within LSS7 is based on the right to full-time employment, it is a prerequisite that you are flexible and solution-focused. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Selection takes place on an ongoing basis during the application period. Permanent position, weekend shift, 100%. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Start according to agreement. Other Information In our operations, all those to be employed to work within the functional disability area according to law (2010:479) must provide a criminal record check excerpt for the hiring manager. Weekend shift means working every weekend and includes work shifts from Friday evening to Sunday evening, at least 10 weekend shifts/4 weeks on a 32-hour work week. If there is a desire for higher employment than what these 10 shifts correspond to, additional shifts will be scheduled on weekdays according to the employee's wishes and operational needs. Your employment will be within the Social Welfare Sector of Lidköping Municipality, which means you may be asked to work at other units than Lovisagatan. Selection takes place continuously during the recruitment period. Criminal Record Check Prior to offering employment, you as a candidate are required to provide a criminal record check excerpt for work within any of the following work areas: school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and childcare, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with HVB homes, work with elderly or people with disabilities.
