About the Workplace
32nd Garrison Battalion is a support function within the Helicopter Squadron and part of the combat unit 3rd Air Squadron. The battalion includes functions for logistics, medical services, and training and has its primary place of operations in Linköping. The battalion consists largely of civilian employees and carries out tasks across the entire conflict spectrum.
32nd Garrison Battalion is a workplace under development where new functions, units, and tasks are added over time.
Main Responsibilities
As deputy battalion commander of 32nd Garrison Battalion, you are the battalion's closest collaborator and take responsibility for finances, development matters, and certain processes. You are also the battalion's representative in various working groups, both at the unit but also within the Swedish Armed Forces, and are expected to represent the battalion at various meetings and official occasions.
Qualifications
Professional officer's degree OF2-OF3
Very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Driver's license class B.
Meritorious
Good experience in staff processes and experience from national staff service at central level
Other experience of staff work
Good leadership qualities
Experience in one or more of the following areas: logistics, medical services, or conscription training.
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who is outgoing with documented good collaboration skills. You also have a documented well-attested service in a management position.
Great weight will be placed on personal suitability.

For example, for personnel, equipment, or medical transport, command, reconnaissance, or surveillance assignments. The Helicopter Squadron therefore often participates in missions and exercises with other units as well as support to society in various crisis situations.
