About the role
As a Stone Layer in Stockholm, you'll work on laying and maintaining surface coverings such as paving stones, concrete blocks, and tiles — from careful subbase preparation and drainage to finishing and repairs. This role combines practical craftsmanship, problem-solving, and an aesthetic sense, and suits you if you thrive with physical work and precision. What you will do
Prepare subbase and ensure correct drainage and level
Lay paving stones, concrete blocks, and tiles with precision
Cutting, jointing, and finishing of surfaces
Repair and maintain existing surface coverings
Use hand tools and small machines safely and efficiently
Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and other trades on site
Follow occupational safety regulations and actively work toward a safe workplace
What you bring
Trade education or apprenticeship experience in stone laying, ground construction, or similar
Practical experience laying paving stones, concrete blocks, and tiles, as well as jointing
Knowledge of occupational safety and Swedish building standards; BAS training or equivalent is a merit
B-category driver's license is a merit
