Responsibilities
As Government Grant Controller at Internationella Engelska Skolan, you will have a central and coordinating role at our head office in Danderyd. You will be the operations' "spider in the web" when it comes to managing, coordinating, and optimizing the organization's government grants.
You have overall responsibility for gathering documentation from all our schools across the country, compiling the information, and ensuring that applications are submitted correctly and on time. The role involves frequent contact points and close collaboration with both HR, the Education Department, and the Finance team. Additionally, you will join the organization's steering committee for grants and external funding (e.g., EU grants), where you have an important coordinating and presenting function.
Your main responsibilities:
Coordinate and compile: Gather, quality assure, and compile documentation for government grant applications from all IES schools.
Application process: Take responsibility for the entire process of submitting applications to relevant authorities.
Steering committee work: Actively participate in the grants management steering committee as a driving, coordinating, and presenting member.
Internal collaboration: Serve as a link and collaboration partner between HR, the Education Department, and Finance.
Analysis and monitoring: Analyze data, keep full control of the figures, and proactively identify development opportunities in our processes.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you are someone who loves order and organization, while being motivated by building good relationships. You are confident, have strong communication skills, and enjoy a coordinating role with many contact points. You have analytical sharp thinking, are development-oriented, and ensure that things are done with high quality.
Qualifications:
Education: Post-secondary education in economics, administration, or another relevant field.
Experience: At least three years of relevant work experience in similar administrative or financial work.
Project experience: Experience working in project form and driving processes forward.
Systems and data: Highly skilled Excel user and experienced in handling and analyzing large amounts of data.
Communication: Administratively skilled with the ability to express yourself well in speech and writing.
