E.ON in Sweden is part of the international energy company E.ON SE with headquarters in Essen, Germany. Within the group, around 70,000 people work in 17 countries. Around 2,100 dedicated employees work throughout Sweden. Our Nordic headquarters is located in Malmö. In Sweden, we deliver electricity, heating, and smart energy solutions to over one million households and businesses. E.ON's role is to take responsibility and drive development forward, so that more can transition. With our investments and our customers' commitment to contribute, we work to continue electrifying society and meet future energy needs. About Us We are in the midst of one of our time's greatest societal transformations, where the electricity grid plays a crucial role in enabling a sustainable future. Within Regional Grid Operations, we have national responsibility for our transformer stations and power lines in the regional grid. These form the heart of the transition and must therefore function safely, reliably, and cost-effectively for many decades to come. Now we are looking for you who want to be part of this journey and help shape the future regional grid. Your Role As a Station Project Engineer, you will be an important part of our work enabling new connections and strengthening critical infrastructure. You will primarily work with the design of new construction and renovation of transformer stations in the regional grid by developing high-quality procurement documentation with technically and economically optimized solutions. In this role, you will: • Develop documentation and materials for investigations, feasibility studies, and projects • Drive and personally deliver in the early phases of projects together with an engaged team • Ensure that the design meets technical requirements, standards, and internal guidelines • Be responsible for project budgets and scheduling up to project handover • Prepare and hand over completed materials to Project Operations and participate in procurement • Participate in technical meetings and contribute with station expertise in dialogue with internal and external stakeholders Your Experience We welcome you who have a higher electrical power education or equivalent competence acquired in other ways. You have experience in electrical power operations and are familiar with the design of transformer stations in the regional grid. We believe you will thrive if you: • Have a careful work approach and value quality • Enjoy collaborating and building good relationships • Can communicate clearly and attentively • Like to keep the big picture together while being confident with details • Have an interest in business and see opportunities in complex projects The most important thing is that you want to contribute and grow with us. What is it like working here? You will meet a warm, supportive, and competent team where we learn from each other and help one another. The group is characterized by commitment, unpretentiousness, and a desire to always do our best – together. We offer a culture where you have room to be yourself, where ideas are valued, and where we celebrate our successes together. Here there is both stability and innovation – and a strong sense that our work actually makes a difference. At E.ON, we actively work with inclusion - it is crucial for driving the energy transition forward. We want you to feel welcome! We strive to create a safe work environment with meaningful tasks and good opportunities for development. We continue to challenge ourselves to create a welcoming workplace where we hope you will thrive. We work for a more sustainable energy society, but it is equally important that our employees have the conditions to care for their personal well-being. We therefore offer good benefits so you can feel well and have a good balance between work and leisure. Some of these include reduced working hours that are higher than the industry standard, health insurance, free healthcare, and more! Since we work with activities critical to society, employment is security-classified, which means a security clearance will be conducted before employment. Warmly welcome to apply and join us on the path toward a sustainable society! The application deadline is October 4.
