This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you will then be hired directly by AFRY, provided all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Work Responsibilities In this role, you will be the connecting link between handling geotechnical engineers and field personnel. You're offered a mixed position where you combine geotechnical handling with logistical work to facilitate and develop field operations. This role gives you the opportunity to follow projects from field to finished solution. You will work with geotechnical investigations and sampling in the field, while analyzing results, documenting, and preparing materials in the office. Together with experienced colleagues, you contribute to creating safe and sustainable solutions for everything from roads and railways to industrial and infrastructure projects. The role offers a good combination of practical work and technical analyses, giving you a broad understanding of geotechnics and a strong foundation to develop further within AFRY. Examples of work responsibilities: Participate in geotechnical field investigations and sampling Logistics planning, communication, and material handling Manage, analyze, and document collected data Assist in preparing technical documentation and reports Contribute to developing sustainable and cost-effective solutions for clients The position is based at AFRY's field office in Gammelstad, Luleå. You work daytime, Monday to Friday, with a varied routine that combines office work with field work opportunities. We Are Looking for You If: You have post-secondary education in geotechnics, civil infrastructure, road and water, or another related field. You are early in your career and want to develop alongside experienced colleagues in an environment where learning, collaboration, and knowledge exchange are in focus. Previous experience in geotechnics is not a requirement – AFRY provides you with the right conditions to grow in the role and build a long-term career. The position requires: Driver's license (category B). Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
