Job Description Randstad is now recruiting a stamping and laser operator for an immediate need with our client Alpab in Brandstorp. Then this role could be perfect for you! The position is full-time with working hours during the day – and a shortened workday on Fridays. The assignment begins as a consultant position via Randstad with the clear goal of transitioning to a permanent position at Alpab. About the Role In this role, you will work with the entire process around stamping and laser machines – from programming, operation, and blueprint reading to adjusting and optimizing machine programs. Your daily tasks also include material handling and forklift operation, as well as ongoing quality inspections of manufactured parts. Since the customer strives for continuous improvement, you are also expected to actively contribute to improvements in both production and daily work practices. Alpab is a smaller operation with strong team spirit, which means you are an important part of the entire production flow and are expected to be flexible and help out where needed. About You To succeed in this role, we see that you have a background in the sheet metal industry or manufacturing and are motivated by practical, technical craftsmanship. You have a good understanding of the entire manufacturing chain, preferably have experience with CNC-controlled machines, and are comfortable reading blueprints and technical documentation. You hold forklift certification A1–A4 and speak Swedish fluently in both speech and writing. Your technical interest means you enjoy understanding how things work and constantly see opportunities for improvement. You work carefully and never compromise on quality.
