Ridskolan Östra Torns Ryttarsällskap in eastern Lund is seeking a stable hand from mid-August for weekday mornings during the school term (excluding Christmas and summer breaks). We want you to work alongside and train for a few days at the beginning to learn the job. You will be one of two people sharing the weekdays, so it amounts to 2-3 mornings per week per person. The work typically takes a couple to a few hours per day. This is an excellent side job for you if you live in Lund and are studying or working part-time and miss working with horses! Your tasks will include feeding, weighing hay/hay silage, mixing feed, and turning out the horses to pasture. On alternating days there is light mucking out, and on the other days no mucking. Experience in horse care is a requirement, and we are looking for a responsible person. The work involves handling 12–13 horses, so you need to have good horse experience and feel confident handling various types of horses. We take safety very seriously in our association.
