As Assistant Sales Manager with us, you will be responsible for the Produce & Vegetables department regarding merchandise handling, finances, operations, purchasing, product development, and customer inspiration together with the Sales Manager for Produce & Vegetables. Responsibilities: You will, in consultation with the Sales Manager for Produce & Vegetables, be responsible for ensuring that daily merchandise operations run smoothly. Every day, every week, inspire customers with assortment, inspiration, color palette, seasonality, and local suppliers within produce & vegetables. The Produce & Vegetables department is, from the customer's perspective, the most important department in the store. An important part of the work is to work with correct communication, price perception, product experience, and to create a cohesive structure in the department. You should contribute to and fulfill the department's planning, set and follow routines, manage sales, plan sales, and maintain sales pressure in the department. Handle orders and campaigns when the Sales Manager is not present. The position includes helping the Sales Manager work toward the set budget. Your work also includes participating in team picking across all departments in the store and directing the team when they pick in your department when the Sales Manager is not present. The majority of the position involves merchandise picking with approximately 80% picking and 20% administrative work. The position also includes weekend work. Qualifications: Experience from a leadership position in grocery retail Good knowledge of store economics Are organized and have good quality awareness. As Assistant Sales Manager, you report to the Sales Manager of the department. The position is 100%. Start date is immediate or by agreement. Salary by agreement.
