Description Would you like to lead city-wide development work that contributes to more equitable social services? The Quality Unit is a city-wide support function for Gothenburg City's four social welfare administrations within individual and family care. On behalf of the social administrations' department heads network, we lead and coordinate the development of social service processes. Through shared processes, governing documents, and support to operations, we contribute to equitable, legally secure, and efficient social services. We are now strengthening the unit with an additional process leader in the adult services area. As a process leader, you will become part of our city-wide development work and work with assignments decided by the department heads networks. One of the larger assignments in the near term is to, together with a colleague, drive and support the city's work on the comorbidity reform. The role also encompasses other development assignments in the adult services area based on the city's needs. The unit consists of nine process leaders with different competencies and is led by a unit manager. Organizationally, the unit belongs to the Hisingen Social Welfare Administration and the unit manager reports directly to the administration director. Responsibilities As a process leader, you work both strategically and operationally to lead and coordinate development work in the adult services area. You work closely with social services operations and other principal actors and contribute to developing shared working methods that strengthen the social service process. The assignment includes, among other things: lead and coordinate working groups with representatives from the city's social welfare administrations develop shared processes, routines, and governing documents prepare reports, decision-making materials, and other support materials for operations and management contribute to developing and quality-assuring the social service process develop collaboration between social services and other principal actors support operations in implementing shared working methods, new legislation, and other development assignments The role involves close collaboration with the social administrations' operations and other support functions, such as administration lawyers, systems management, and external collaboration partners. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a social work degree or other university education that the employer considers equivalent. You have several years of experience from social services' adult services area and a good understanding of public authority operations. You have held a leading, coordinating, or development role, such as unit manager, senior social worker, operations developer, or equivalent, and have experience leading or driving development and change work. To succeed in the role, you need to be confident in your professional role and find it easy to build trust, create relationships, and develop consensus. You work in a structured and strategic manner, are analytical, and can translate complex issues into practical and usable solutions. You communicate clearly and enjoy driving development work together with others. It is meritorious if you have experience in process management or project management. We would like to see that you have experience working within Gothenburg City, good knowledge of the city's organization and working methods, and experience with city-wide or administration-wide development work.
