We are now looking for a facilities manager who wants to combine practical facilities management work with a coordinating responsibility at Saltsjöbaden's rector's area. Your Assignment As a facilities manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the daily facilities management work. You are part of the cleaning team and work operatively together with the facilities staff, while also having a coordinating responsibility for daily operations. You serve as support for your colleagues and ensure that the facilities maintain high quality and that applicable routines, work methods, and hygiene requirements are followed. Your duties include: - performing daily cleaning in preschools and schools, such as classrooms, corridors, staff areas, dining halls, and hygiene facilities - planning and coordinating daily staffing - introducing and guiding new employees - monitoring cleaning quality and conducting quality inspections - ensuring that work methods, routines, and hygiene requirements are followed - handling orders for materials and equipment - actively working on developing and improving operations - maintaining ongoing contact and collaboration with principals, staff, and other partners - prioritizing and adapting work based on operational needs. Where possible, we use mechanical cleaning to achieve consistent results and reduce physical strain. We also use a digital planning and monitoring system where you can access work instructions, cleaning schedules, routines, and report deviations via mobile device or tablet. Work hours are primarily scheduled for mornings and daytime. Evening and weekend work may occur during open houses, school closures, and other events. This is always planned well in advance. Your Experience For this position, you must have: - experience in professional facilities management or equivalent practical service work - experience coordinating, leading, and supervising facilities management work - experience managing facilities in a school and/or preschool setting - good digital skills and experience using digital tools to support your work - strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - a valid driver's license (category B). It is advantageous if you also have: - training in facilities management, such as SRY, PRYL, or equivalent - experience with mechanical cleaning, periodic deep cleaning, or work in school and preschool environments or other public operations - experience with quality monitoring in facilities management.
