We are now seeking a Facilities Manager who wants to combine practical facilities management work with coordinating responsibility at Nacka Gymnasium and the Järlahöjden principal area. Your Assignment As a Facilities Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on daily facilities maintenance work. You are part of the cleaning team and work operatively with the facilities staff, while also having coordinating responsibility for daily operations. You serve as a support for your colleagues and ensure that the facilities maintain high quality standards and that applicable procedures, work methods, and hygiene requirements are followed. Your duties include: performing daily cleaning in preschools and schools, such as classrooms, corridors, staff areas, dining halls, and hygiene facilities planning and coordinating daily staffing introducing and guiding new employees monitoring cleaning quality and conducting quality checks ensuring that work methods, procedures, and hygiene requirements are met handling orders for materials and equipment actively working on developing and improving operations maintaining ongoing contact and collaboration with principals, staff, and other partners prioritizing and adapting work based on operational needs. Where possible, we use mechanical cleaning to achieve consistent results and reduce physical strain. We also use a digital planning and follow-up system where you can access work instructions, cleaning schedules, and procedures via mobile device or tablet, as well as report deviations. Working hours are primarily scheduled for mornings and daytime. Evening and weekend work may occur for events such as open houses, school celebrations, and other occasions. This is always planned well in advance. Your Experience For this position, you must have: experience in professional facilities maintenance or equivalent practical service work experience coordinating, leading, and supervising facilities maintenance work experience managing facilities in a school and/or preschool environment good digital skills and experience using digital tools to support your work the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing a B-level driver's license. It is advantageous if you also have: training in facilities management, such as SRY, PRYL, or equivalent experience with mechanical cleaning, periodic cleaning, or work in school and preschool environments or other public sector operations experience with quality monitoring in facilities management.
