As a staff assistant, you have a central role in supporting unit leadership through follow-up and administrative coordination and contribute to efficient daily operations. About us The Swedish Armed Forces Ammunition and Mine Clearance Centre (Swedec) is part of the Swedish Armed Forces and is a national centre of expertise for ammunition and mine clearance operations on land as well as military search operations. At Swedec, there is a Unit Section. We are responsible for the Army's ammunition clearance and search company, which includes the ammunition clearance platoon (EOD) and advanced search platoon (Asök). We often work in close cooperation with other units both nationally and internationally. With us, you become part of a highly specialized team that regularly participates in operations to make a difference. Main duties The role involves providing close administrative and organizational support to unit leadership and contributing to well-functioning daily operations. The work involves ensuring good information management and supporting managers and officials in their ongoing work. You serve as a coordinating function with responsibility for structure, documentation and efficient flow of matters and information within the unit. Examples of main duties: Schedule the unit's personnel shifts Prepare and manage documents according to established procedures Call and administer meetings Distribute and follow up incoming matters to the right officials Manage the unit leadership's vehicles Administer and maintain the unit's collaboration spaces Requirements Qualifications Approved military service certificate (military conscripts who complete basic military training are eligible to apply) Upper secondary school diploma Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish Category B driver's license Group commander training Personal qualities You are responsible, analytical and have good collaboration skills and the ability to work independently. You find it easy to build and maintain good relationships, where trust and confidence are central. You have good structure in your work and the ability to switch between multiple tasks during a working day. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Meritorious Experience in administrative work Experience working as GSS/K Experience working in the Swedish Armed Forces Experience working in public administration Experience with PRIO/SAP systems Other Type of employment: fixed-term employment, the Swedish Armed Forces applies a 6-month probationary period for those not employed in the agency.
