Many of our specialty trainee physicians engage in research, teaching, and quality improvement work. Clinical service under supervision, structured supervisor meetings, courses and seminars to achieve the objectives outlined in the specialty training program are a given. Skills development is also offered through regular teaching, joint specialty trainee days, and more. We have a humanistic and ethical foundation that permeates the training, with committed training directors and experienced specialists who supervise.
Through psychiatry in Skåne, the population is offered comprehensive specialist psychiatric care within adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and forensic psychiatry. Psychiatry Skåne has approximately 3,300 employees and has a solid connection to Lund University and other educational institutions in the region.
The Adult Psychiatry operational area in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All inpatient care is located in Helsingborg. The operations employs approximately 470 staff.
The operations is a university healthcare unit characterized by diversity and high expertise with proximity to research and teaching. We constantly work to improve and develop specialist psychiatric care, for example several development projects are ongoing. Within the Department of Psychiatry, Habilitation and Assistive Devices, there is Psychiatry Research Skåne for clinical psychiatry, which facilitates the implementation of clinical studies.

DUTIES
The structure of the positions will be planned in consultation with the operations manager, training director, and supervisor. The content follows the objectives established to achieve specialist competence in adult psychiatry.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed physician with the authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. If you have experience in adult and/or child psychiatry, this is advantageous. We would like to see that you have experience or interest in research.
You who apply have good communication skills and can convey knowledge in a clear and pedagogical manner and involve the patient in their care. We expect you to have good collaboration skills and that you contribute to a good work environment. We place great importance on personal suitability.
Certificates of medical degree and licensure as well as other documents that you wish to present should be provided at the interview.
A background check will be conducted before any employment.

The mission within psychiatry is to provide specialized care in publicly operated child, adult, and forensic psychiatry. Habilitation provides habilitation and rehabilitation within publicly operated child, youth, and adult habilitation. Assistive Devices has the responsibility to manage assistive devices prescribed to patients in Skåne. Within the department there is also vision, hearing, and deaf services and youth clinics in Skåne.
