Oncology has a regional assignment that includes providing advanced medical treatment and care to cancer patients primarily in Gästrikland, Hälsingland, and northern Uppland. The department provides day care, outpatient and ward services, radiation therapy, and palliative care teams. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a resident physician, you will be part of the physician team, where we work to see the whole picture of our patients with oncological diseases. You work in a multidisciplinary team together with experienced oncologists, nurses, and other specialists where you always have supervision to provide patients with the best possible care. Your placement is planned together with your supervisor, study director, and medical chief, and our goal is to create a safe interaction between theory, practice, learning, and growth. As a resident physician with us, you will work with, among other things: • participating in investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with cancer diseases according to national and regional care programs • participating in multidisciplinary conferences • outpatient work • radiation therapy • ward service • participating in treatment planning, follow-up, and palliative care.
