Make a difference. Every day. We are now seeking a licensed physician at Vårdcentralen Näsby with a focus on specialist training (ST) in general medicine! We are a stable and well-functioning unit with approximately 10,600 listed patients and operate in an area with a unique combination of multicultural city life and Scanian countryside. We are a multifaceted operation with clinics for district nurses, physiotherapists, social workers, dietitians, and occupational therapists. We have specialized nurse-led clinics for asthma/COPD, diabetes, heart failure, cognitive impairment, and targeted health conversations. We also have a well-developed rehabilitation coordinator function at 100%, a geriatric care clinic, a lifestyle clinic, and a mobile care team. In telephone advice and primary care triage, nurses handle the initial care smoothly with support from physicians, physiotherapists, and healthcare assistants. Our physician clinic has 8 specialists in general medicine. Training future specialist physicians is an important part of our mission, and we currently have 4 ST physicians in training. At the most recent SPUR inspection in May 2026, we received very positive reviews, which confirms the high quality of our training and supervision activities. Supervision is a natural and integrated part of daily work. We value continuous professional development and are open to developing and testing new working methods to continuously improve our operations. WORK TASKS • Assessment and treatment of patients of all ages with all types of health problems that do not require resources within specialized healthcare. • Teamwork in rehabilitation matters and in chronic disease states. • Limited patient list responsibility with the opportunity to follow your patients over time. • Study time each week. • Designated time for supervision each week. • Participation in ST days and other competence development as you and/or the unit need. As an ST physician, you follow your ST plan and we offer a supportive educational climate on your path toward specialist physician competence. In addition to mandatory ST courses and participation in ST days, you are offered excellent development opportunities with continuous professional development, both internally and externally according to your interests and the unit's needs. Administrative time is allocated and you can influence how you want to structure your schedule regarding this. The goal is as little administration as possible for the physicians at the unit. At the same time, we expect you to be involved in improvement work and operational development. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Regarding formal requirements, you must be a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. A permanent employment as an ST physician may be preceded by a time-limited employment as an assistant physician for a period of three to six months in accordance with regional guidelines for appointing ST physician positions within Primary Care.
